Vegan Banana Oatmeal Pancakes with Macadamia Nuts

1 ¼ cups old-fashioned oats
½ cup organic whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 ½ cups almond milk
2 very ripe bananas
olive oil or coconut oil
1/3 cup toasted, chopped macadamia nuts
maple syrup for serving (use reduced sugar or sugar free to keep the calorie count low)
