Honey Sesame Chicken

2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (I’ve used tenderloins too)
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup tomato paste
3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sriracha chili sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
sesame seeds (for garnish)
scallions, thinly sliced (for garnish)
