Vanilla Malt Milk Cake

4 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup coconut milk, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1-3/4 cups (7 ounces) cake flour
1-1/2 cups ( 10-1/2 ounces) granulated sugar
3/4 cup (3-3/8 ounces) malt milk powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
16 tablespoons (8 ounces/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 16 pieces and softened
